18. Aeltester (Bishop) Jacob BRAUN was born on Aug 9 1791. He died on Dec 16 1868. A27 Lived in Schoenberg, Chortitza, Ukraine, before relocating to the Bergthal Colony. Officiated at the installation of Aeltester Gerhard Dyck in Chortitza

19. Susanna LEIKI was born on Sep 20 1796. She died on Sep 18 1864. Brother Johann is listed at A20 in Bergthal Book Children were:

i. Deacon Jacob BRAUN was born on Oct 13 1816 in Schoenberg. He died on Nov 28 1869. (B13 Bergthal Gemeinde Buch)

ii. Abraham BRAUN was born on Jan 18 1819.

iii. Justina BRAUN was born on Sep 18 1821.

iv. Johann BRAUN was born on Oct 20 1823.

v. Katarina BRAUN was born on Dec 31 1825. Married to Peter Wiens.  Katarina and her husband Peter brought Jacob Warkentin to Canada as a foster child, on the ship "Morovian", landing in Canada July 1, 1875. Peter Wiens died in Altona Manitoba in 1883. They had no children and his estate went to heirs in Russia.

9 vi. Susanna BRAUN. mother of Jacob Warkentin (May 22 1857 - Dec 15 1885)  

vii. Heinrich BRAUN was born on Oct 21 1830. He died on Oct 11 1853.

viii. Peter BRAUN was born on Nov 12 1832.
