Waibel, Gilbert Lee (b. --Not Shown--)
Note: I only have one or two clear memories of Gilbert. The first was when I was about four years old. David and I had been left with him to babysit us while my mother went to the doctor. I believe she must have taken Regina with her. David was in the living room watching TV. Gilbert had me in the kitchen and then the bath room. He sat on a kitchen chair and unzipped his pant and tried to put his penis in me. I remember being bounce on his lap and held in place. I remember the zipper hurting me and seeing his penis as he tried to get it out of his pants, it arched and then came out. He was not circumsized. David did not come to help me he just continued to watch tv. I had long blonde hair and a plaid dress on and shoes that buckled and white anklets. It was summer. I eventually was let go and I ran out side and put my feet through the rungs of the iron fence and looked up Isabella street waiting for my mother to come back. I told her that he hurt me but she just ignored me.
As I type this I am in a daze, my neck hurts. Each time I try to reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee-read it I get dizzy.

I avoided of at least blocked all other memories of him until i was a teenager. I theink that I babysat for his first child on New years eve two years in a row. I did not want to but I wanted the money. I remember him living on Thornton street the first year. When i got there he was screaming at his wife and slapping her and asked "what are you looking at?" I do not remember her name.

Waibel, Lawrence Melvin (b. --Not Shown--)
Note: When we first moved in to the Thornton street house we rented the first floor to Lawrence and his wife Carol. They soon had a baby, Larry Jr. On more that one occasion he would scream at and slap her. My mother called her ""Crazy Carol" and said that she was as crazy as her mother who had spent most of her life in a mental hospital called Longwood. When I told mom Abe was beating her up she told me
she probably deserved it. I was told to mind my own business and stay out of it. Later I was not allowed to talk to Carol.

Waibel, Clifford (b. 16 AUG 1926, d. 10 OCT 1990)

Death: 10 OCT 1990

Waibel, Bertha Jean (b. --Not Shown--)
Note: Bertha was called Jeanie. I never knew her name was Bertha until now. She was a pathetic creature who just exissted from day to day. She had 12-13 children, her hous always looked like a ghetto no matter where she lived the house would soon be destroyed. I hated to go there. The house smelled and plaster fell off the walls and the kids were wild. I think Don was a truck driver and was gone most of the time. He was a big man with dark hair. I always wondered why she stayed with him. I guess she had so many children and no strength to do anything. I think I understand more now.
