This Postcard was sent by Florence Ada Murphy (nee Hammans), or Florence's mother Elizabeth, both of England, to Florence's second cousin Alice Seamons (nee Ford), who was living in Carlton, Victoria, Australia.
Alice sent parcels to the Hammans family during the First World War, and Elizabeth Hammans and her youngest daughter Edna Hammans visited Melbourne in the late 1920s.
