MARTHA JANE WEBB 83 YEAR OLD MOTHER SUCCUMBS Martha Jane Webb, 83 years old, passed away Saturday morning (Mar. 3, 1945) at 12:10 in a local hospital. Mrs. Webb was the wife of Boone Webb who preceded her in death several years ago. She suffered a partial paralytic stroke nearly two years ago and had been an invalid since that time. She is survived by four sons and one daughter, Nelson and Elmon of West Virginia, Garland of Van Lear, Jake of East Point, with whom she had made her home for several years and Mrs. Paul Brown, Fairfield, Ohio. Remains were taken to the Jones Funeral Home and were kept there until one o'clock Sunday afternoon when they were taken to the Christian Church at West Van Lear where funeral services were held by Rev. S. C. Honeycutt, and then the body was laid to rest in the home cemetery near Volga. Paintsville Herald Thursday March 8, 1945
