JOHN MAY DIES JULY 17 John May, 72 years old, died at his home at Swamp Branch, Thursday, July 17 at 2 p.m. after a long illness. Besides his widow, he is survived by several children. Funeral services were held Saturday at one o’clock at the Riceville Freewill Baptist Church by the Rev. Scott Castle and Rev. Claude Preston. Burial was made in the Swamp Branch cemetery.
