Albert Lemasters, 81, died Friday, October 29,1982 at his River
home.
  
Mr. Lemasters was born in Johnson County, February 2, 1901, a son
of James Rufus and Sara Jane Adkins Lemaster.
  
He was a retired railroader and miner and a member of Smith Creek
Valley United Baptist Church.
  
His wife, Myrtle Mae Davis Lemasters, preceded him in death in
1958.
  
Surviving are three daughters, Anna Wallen, River; Verna Marie
Diller, Columbus, Ohio; and Geraldine Shannon, Chapman; a brother,
Manford Lemasters, McArthur, Ohio; a sister, Myrtle Manbeavers,
Portsmouth; Ohio; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
  
Funeral services were held November 1 in Preston Funeral Home
Chapel with David Gamble, Ronald Hill and Jess Smith officiating.
  
Burial was in Borders At Cemetery, River, with  Preston Funeral
Home in  charge of arrangements.
