THOMAS A KIMBLER
Funeral services were held Tuesday at Cannons Chapel at Volga for Thomas A. Kimbler, 78, who died at this home at Volga Saturday following an illness of two months.
The son of the late John Welsey and Sara Ramey Kimbler he was born in Greenup County, KY., Mauch 21, 1875.
He had been a resident of Johnson County for the past 40 years.
He was a retired farmer and a member of the Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Cora Kimbler, nine sons; Paul Kimbler, U.S. Navy, Millard Kimbler, Ashland, Robert Kimbler, and John W. Kimbler, both at home, George Kimbler, city, Harold Kimbler, Urbana, Ohio, Fred Kimbler and Hubert Kimbler, both of Detroit, Michigan, and Edward Preston, Ashland; five daughters, Mrs. Minnie Johnson, city, Mrs. Blanche Salyers, Minneapolis, Minn., Lou Anna Kimbler and June Kimbler, both of Miama, Fla., Marie Kimbler of Detroit, Mich.
Other survivors include two brothers, Willie Kimbler, Minneapolis, Minn., and Bob Kimbler, Harold, KY.
Rites were conducted by Rev. W.E. Cissna.
Burial was made in the Hitchcock cemetery at Volga under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home.
