SERVICES TUESDAY FOR KEATON, RESIDENT

Thurman E. Hamilton, 62, died at his home at Keaton at 6:30 p.m.,
May 20, 1951, after an illness of three years.

He was born in Keaton, November 11, 1888, the son of Mrs. and Mrs.
F.P. Hamilton and was a lifelong resident of that community.

His occupation was farming, and he was a member of the United
Baptist Church.

He was married May 5, 1923, at Crockett, Kentucky, to his wife,
Katherine, who survives him.

Surviving besides his wife, are one son Edgar Hamilton, at home one
daughter Matilda Hamilton, at home; five brothers, Charlie Hamilton,
Relief; John Hamilton, Red Bush; Brady Hamilton, Terryville, KY.,
Emory Hamilton, Keaton, and O.A. Hamilton, Paintsville, and two
sisters, Lizzie Hamilton, Keaton, and Mrs. Jim P. Skaggs of Ashland.

Funeral services were conducted at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 22, at
the home with the Revs. J.T. Bailey, Rufus Fannin and Charlie Lyons
officiating.

Burial was under the direction of the Preston Funeral Home.
