HERBERT CAUDILL 1939-1997 Swamp Branch resident Herbert Caudill, 58, died Wednesday, June 4, 1997, at Paul Hall Regional Medical Center. Mr. Caudill was born May 1939, in Johnson County, to Maxie Click Caudill and the late Ivan Caudill. He was a coal tipple operator. Surviving are his mother; his wife, Billie Lou Kestner Caudill; one daughter, Mary L. Hitchcock of Swamp Branch; and two brothers, Chester of Carey, Ohio; and Kenneth of Swamp Branch. Funeral services were Sunday, June 8, at Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel, with David Keith Castle and Danny Ward officiating. Burial was in Pete Bayes Cemetery at Swamp Branch.
