STERLING THOMAS CASTLE
Sterling Thomas Castle, 27, Nippa, veteran of World War II, was killed suddenly December 30, by a rock fall in a small mine in which he was working near his home.
He was born at Nippa December 17, 1921, the son of Sterling and Fannie Daniel Castle and resided there all of his life. He was enrolled as a student in an electrical course at Mayo Vocational School.
He is survived by his wife, Emogean Music Castle, and a one- year-old child. Surviving also are his parents and several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Scott Daniel at 1:00 P.M., Sunday, January 2, at the Sycamore Schoolhouse. Burial was in the family cemetery under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home.
