ROBERT CASTLE
Robert (Cub) Castle, 33, died Tuesday, September 18, 1979, in
Martin County.
Mr. Castle was born November 25, 1945, in Johnson County, the son
of Russell and Eulah Daniel Castle. He was a resident of River, a
member of the Tom’s Creek Freewill Baptist Church and an employee
of Big Tree Mining.
Surviving are his wife, Bonnie Ward Castle: two sons and a
daughter, Russell Lee, Robert Michael and Tracy Renee, all at
home; three brothers, Richard, Paintsville, Ray Bob, Tutor Key,
and Ralph, West Van Lear; and five sisters, Ruth Rigsby and Rushie
Blanton, Paintsville, Ruby Crave, Lowmansville, Roberta Conley,
Thealka, and Janet Sue Pack Tutor Key.
Funeral Services were held Thursday, September 20, 1979, in Tom’s
Creek Freewill Baptist Church with James Kelly Caudill and Grover
Castle officiating.
Burial was in Mayo Cemetery, Paintsville, with Preston Funeral
Home handling arrangements.
