Services at Sycamore
For Nippa Resident


Mrs. Maudie Castle, 69, wife of Mr. W. M. Castle of Nippa,
died at her home at 8:30 a.m., Tuesday, July 18, following
an illness of five years.

Born in this county June 2, 1881, the daughter of the late
Andie and Tillie Justice Castle, she had been a lifelong
resident of Nippa.  She was a member of the United Baptist
Church at Beech Grove.

Surviving besides her husband are two daughters, Mrs. Lelia
Saddler, Nippa, Mrs. Ellie Nickels, City; two sons, Ervin H.
Castle, Nippa, and Elijah Castle, Beaver Creek.  Two
daughters, Emla Daniels and Clista Castle preceded her in
death.  Surviving also are two half brothers, Harrison
Castle, Nippa, Hard Castle, Lowmansville, and two half
sisters, Sarah Castle, and Nerva Music, both of Nippa.

Funeral services were conducted at Sycamore Thursday, July
20 at 10:00 a. m., by Revs. Don Fraley and Claude Preston.
Burial was in the Sycamore Cemetery, under the direction of
the Guy W. Preston Funeral Home.

(Note: This cemetery is also known as the "Clark Castle
Cemetery".)
