Frank Castle, 72, retired miner of Thealka, died in a local hospital
Wednesday morning, May 27, after a few days illness.

A native of Johnson County, he was born September 11, 1886 and had
lived at Thealka most of his life. He was a member of the Freewill
Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Pina Fletcher Castle; six sons,
Andrew Castle, Urbana, Ohio; Woodrow, Ernest, Fraklin, Terry and Joe
Castle all of Thealka; ten daughters, Mabel Jackson, Irwin, Ohio;
Sylvia Black, Mildred Roberts, Irwin, Ohio; Margarett and Juanita
Castle both of Thealka; Sue, Betty, Faye, Edna and Elizabeth all at
home; a sister, Mrs. John Dills, Nippa; twenty-three grandchildren
and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 29, at the
Thealka Freewill Baptist Church with Tom Fraley and Claude Preston as
officiating ministers. Music was by the Thealka Quartet.

Burial was in the family cemetery at Nippa.
