FRANK CASTLE 1886-1964 Frank Castle, 72, retired miner of Thealka, died in a local hospital Wednesday morning, May 27, after a few days illness. A native of Johnson County, he was born September 11, 1886 and had lived at Thealka most of his life. He was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Pina Fletcher Castle; six sons, Andrew Castle, Urbana, Ohio; Woodrow, Ernest, Fraklin, Terry and Joe Castle all of Thealka; ten daughters, Mabel Jackson, Irwin, Ohio; Sylvia Black, Mildred Roberts, Irwin, Ohio; Margarett and Juanita Castle both of Thealka; Sue, Betty, Faye, Edna and Elizabeth all at home; a sister, Mrs. John Dills, Nippa; twenty-three grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 29, at the Thealka Freewill Baptist Church with Tom Fraley and Claude Preston as officiating ministers. Music was by the Thealka Quartet.
