VERNA BUTLER 

Retired bookkeeper, Verna Butler, 89, died Tuesday, July 12 at
Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Butler was born September 22, 1904, in Johnson County, the
daughter of the late Sanford Lee and Sarah McKenzie Blanton.  She
was self-employed and a member of the Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Virgil Butler, on January
11, 1982.

Surviving are one daughter, Judy Webb of Ocala, Florida; and three
grandchildren.

Private services were held with Jerry Castle officiating.

Paintsville Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
