WALTER BUTCHER

Walter Butcher, 77, of Whitehouse, died Wednesday, August 19,1996,
at Central Baptist Hospital Lexington.
  
He was born May 2, 1919, in Whitehouse, the son of Son and Marcella
DeBoard Butcher.
  
He is preceded in death by his wife, Laura Bells Butcher.
  
He is survived by four daughters, Betty Butcher of Ocabee, Florida,
Cora Dorsey of Clyde, Ohio, Nancy Caponi of Royalton, Ohio, and Suzi
Butcher of Royalton, Ohio; one brother, Jack Herman Butcher of
Whitehouse; and one sister, Alice Jean Wiley, Columbus, Ohio.
  
Services were August 22 at Whitehouse Enterprise Baptist Church with
Isaac Rowland and Charlie Wiley officiating.
  
Burial was in the Son Butcher Cemetary.
