SON BUTCHER
Son Butcher, 83, of Whitehouse, died Saturday, November, 13 1971
at his home following an extended illness.
He was a retired miner and was affiliated with the Enterprise
Baptist Church.
He was the son of the late Mark and Jemina Meek Butcher.
Immediate survivors include his wife, Marcella DeBoard Butcher;
three sons, Roy Butcher, of Keaton; Walter Butcher, of Sandusky,
Ohio; and Jack H. Butcher of U.S. Air Force Germany; two
daughters, Mrs. Esther Welch of Whitehouse; and Mrs. Alice Jean
Wiley of Columbus, Ohio; and one sister, Mrs. Bertha Brindstaff
of Tennessee.
Funeral services were conducted by Ezekiel Lyons, Herman DeBoard
and Bruce Daniels at 11:00 a.m.. Tuesday, November 21 by Earl
Pennington and John Frank Ratliff at the Auxier Methodist Church.
Burial followed in the family Cemetery under direction of the
Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
