WILLARD BURCHETT
Willard Burchett departed this life on Wednesday, October 2, 1968
at the Wilmington Medical Center, Wilmington, Delaware after a
short illness.
He was the son of Herman and Minnie Stambaugh Buchett, born
December 12, 1918 in Johnson County, Kentucky.
He is survived by his father and mother of Jenkins, Kentucky; his
wife, Lorrene Walters Burchett, four children: Mrs. John
Waybright of Charleston, WV; Joyce LaNell of Jenkins, Ky.; Theresa
Lorrene and Melissa Marie Burchett of Charleston, WV; one brother,
Edwin Price Burchett of Cincinnati, Ohio; four sisters: Mary
Elizabeth Nash, Grayson, Ky; Jimmie Ann Farley, Jenkins, Ky.;
Donna Sue Howington and Nancy Lou Mullins of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Willard was a veteran of World War II and a member of Warren
Masonic Lodge No. 51, Portland, Connecticut.
Funeral services were held at the Christian Church, Jenkins,
Kentucky, on Saturday, October 5, 1968, at 11:00 a.m. Rev.
Barton Heiserman was the officiating minister.
Burial was in the Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Staffordsville,
Kentucky
Polly-Craft Funeral Home, Jenkins, Kentucky in charge of
arrangements.
