VIRGINIA BURCHETT COUNTY WOMAN DIES SATURDAY Services Held Tuesday For Mrs. Burchett, 43 Mrs. Virginia Stambaugh Burchett, 43, wife of Albert Burchett of Stambaugh, died Satuday night in a local hospital following an illness of five weeks. Born August 3, 1912, at Stambaugh, she was the daughter of Roy Stambaugh and the late Naomi Witten Stambaugh. She was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church. Surviving besides the husband and father are one son, John Gerald Burchett, at home, one daughter, Patricia Ann Burchett, at home, and one sister, Mrs. Sterling VanHoose, Stambaugh. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at the Toms Creek Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Claude Preston and the Rev. C. C. Hall officiating. Burial was made in the family cemetery under the direction of the Jones and Preston Funeral Home. Paintsville Herald Wednesday January 1, 1956
