THOMAS LANDRUM BURCHETT   Services July 1 for Landrum Burchett. Thomas Landrum Burchett, 89, of Stambaugh died on Tuesday, June 28, after an illness of two years. Mr. Burchett, the son of Jeff and Angie Vanhoose Burchett, was born in Floyd County, Kentucky, on March 17, 1860. He had been a life-long resident of Stambaugh, where he was affiliated with the United Baptist Church, and was a retired farmer. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1943. Survivors include two daughters and four sons, Lizzie Justice, and Millie Justice, Delbarton, W. Va., and Oscar, Proctor, and Willie, all of Stambaugh and Julius Burchett of Lowmansville. Funeral services will be held at the Locust Grove Church at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, July 1, by the Revs. F.F. Riggsby, John Brown and Florida Lyons. Burial will be in the family cemetery at Stambaugh, Ky., under direction of the Jones Funeral Home. Paintsville Herald Thursday 6-30-1949
