MINNIE ALICE BURCHETT
Minnie Alice Burchett, age 73, of Jenkins, Kentucky, died May 29,
1973 in Louisville, Kentucky after a long illness.
She was the daughter of Troy Stambaugh and Mary Witten Stambaugh,
born June 21, 1899 at Stambaugh, Kentucky.
Survivors are her husband, Herman Burchett of Jenkins, Ky.; four
daughters, Mary Elizabeth Nash of Grayson, Ky.; Jimmie Ann Farley
of Jenkins, Ky.; Donna Sue Howington and Nancy Lou Mullins of
Cincinnati, Ohio; one son, Edwin Price Burchett of Cincinnati,
Ohio; seventeen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; one
sister, Lula Akers, Lima, Ohio; two brothers, C. H. Stambaugh of
Paintsville, Ky. and J. C. Stambaugh of Jenkins, Ky.
She was preceded in death by three sons, John Morgan Burchett,
Francis Marion Burchett, and Willard Burchett.
Mrs. Burchett was a charter member of the Jenkins Christian
Church.
Funeral services were held at the Jenkins Christian Church on
Friday, June 1, 1973 at 11:00 a.m. John Owston was the officiating
minister.
Burial was in the Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville,
Kentucky.
