JOYCE LANELL BURCHETT
Miss Joyce LaNell Burchett, 25, of 622 Beech Avenue, Charleston,
West Virginia died on Tuesday, May 6, 1969 in the McMillan
Hospital after a short illness.
She was born in Paintsville, Kentucky on October 3, 1943.
She was preceded in death by her father, Willard Burchett, on
October 2, 1968.
Besides her mother, Lorrene Walters Burchett, Charleston, she is
survived by three sisters, Mrs. John Waybright, Miss Theresa
Lorrene Burchett and Miss Melissa Marie Burchett of Charleston; 2
nieces, Cindy Rachel and Cheryl Leslie Waybright, Charleston.
Also surviving are her grandparents, Charles and Tava Salyers
Walters, Paintsville, and Herman and Minnie Stambaugh Burchett of
Jenkins, Kentucky.
Miss Burchett was a member of the Bible Center Church, Charleston,
West Virginia.
Visitation was at the Wilson Funeral Home, Charleston, on
Thursday, May 8, 1969, after 6:00 p.m.
The body was taken to Jones-Preston Funeral Home in Paintsville,
Kentucky on Friday.
Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. in the First Baptist Church
in Paintsville with burial in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery.
