ALTA BLANTON 1902-2001 Alta Conley Blanton, 99, died Saturday, Dec. 29, in Highlands Regional Medical Center in Prestonsburg. Mrs. Blanton was born May 11, 1902, in Johnson County. Her husband, Ennie Blanton, preceded her in death. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Jones- Preston Funeral Home in Paintsville.  Burial will be in Richmond Cemetery at Paintsville.
