FLORA BLAIR Mrs. Flara Blair, 82 a lifelong resident of Barnett's Creek suscumbed Thursday March 20 1969 at her home after an extended illness. A member of the Beechwall United Baptist Church, she was the daughter of Eli and Elizabeth Ward Ratliff. Mrs Blair was born in August 1883 at Barnett's Creek. Her husband, Albert Blair to whom she was married died in 1939. Surviving include three sons, Wayne Blair of Paintsville, Cecil and Raymond Blair of Cleveland Ohio, and two daughters, Mrs Dorothy Blair of Berea,Ohio, and Mrs Lizzie  Young of Barnett's Creek. Surviving brothers and sisters, Ellis Ratliff of Denver, Junior Ratliff of Barnett's Creek, Callis Daniels of Barnett's Creek, Callie Setser of Barnett's Creek, Verlis Ratliff of Mansfield, Ohio, and Emma Selvage of Ashland,Ky. Nine grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren also survive. James Harrison Blair, J.H. May and Charles Selvage officiated at services on Sunday, March 23, at the Beechwall United Baptist Church. Burial followed in the Albert Blair Cemetery at Barnett's Creek. The Preston Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. THE OBITUARY BIRTHDATE AND THE AGE AT DEATH LEAVES DOUBT AS TO THE CORRECT BIRTHDATE.
