ESTHER WELCH

Preston Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for Esther Welch,
79, who died Tuesday, July 6 1993.
  
Mrs. Welch was born December, 6 1913, the daughter of the late Son
and Marcella Deboard Butcher. She was a member of the Whitehouse
Enterprise Baptist Church.
  
She was preceded in death by her husband Mart Welch in 1986.
  
Surviving are two sons, Mart and Marlin Welch, both of Whitehouse;
two daughters, Melda Wiley of Meally; and Margaret Lamb of Palatka,
Florida; two brothers, Walter and Jack Butcher, both of Whitehouse;
one sister, Alice Wiley of Columbus, Ohio; and 20 grandchildren and
20 great- grandchildren.
  
Funeral services were held Thursday, July 8 in Whitehouse Enterprise
Baptist Church, with Charlie Wiley and Tommy Meade officiating.
  
Burial was in Butcher Family Cemetery at Whitehouse.
