CHARLES WELCH
1913 - 1975
Mr. Charles (Shine) Welch died Thursday, June 19 1975 at the age of
62 in a hospital In Columbus, Ohio.
Born at Whitehouse June 6, 1913, he was the son of the late Lige
and Margaret Rowland Welch. He worked as a Janitor for the R. G.
Berry Company.
He leaves his wife, Marie Hurt Welch; three sons, Roy Franklin
Welch, Clyde Edward Welch, and Charles Donald Welch, all of
Columbus; a daughter, Mrs. Margie Cross of Columbus; two brothers,
Mart and Ralph Welch, both of Whitehouse; two sisters, Mrs. Raymond
Lemaster of Wheelersburg Ohio, and Mrs. Paul Darby of Columbus; and
five grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Whitehouse Enterprise Baptist
Church Sunday, June 21. Reverends Charles Wiley and Bruce Daniels
were the officiating ministers.
Burial was at the Son Butcher Family Cemetery at Whitehouse under
the arrangement and direction of the Preston Funeral Home.
