Taken By Death
Rites at Freewill
for City Resident

Mrs. Erie Hondel Riche, 46, widely known Paintsville woman,
died Thursday, Dec 28 at 5:20 p.m. at her home after a long
illness.

She was born March 21, 1904, at Volga, the daughter of
Harrison and Lottie Clay Blair. She was a member of the
Freewill Baptist Church.

She was married to Marion Hondel in 1930 who died one year
later. In 1934 she was married to Fred Richie who survives.

Other survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Marion Allen,
Paintsville, three sister, Mrs. Tera Nelson, Mrs. Golda
VanHoose and Mrs. Vera VanHoose all of Paintsville, five
brothers, Tom Blair, Thomas, Ky., Crossford Blair, Kenwood,
Ky., Liss Blair, Leander, Drice Blair, Volga and Bruce
Blair, Dwale, Ky.

Funeral services were held Sunday December 31 at 2p.m., at
the Freewill Baptist Church on Third Street by Revs. C. C.
Hall, F.S. VanHoose and Claude Preston.

Songs were by the Paintsville Quartet.

Internment was made in the Mayo cemetery under the direction
of the Paintsville Funeral Home.
