RUTH RAMEY

Mrs, Ruth Ramey, age 76, died Sunday, September 25 at 8 p.m. at
the Paintsville Hospital after an extended illness.
  
Funeral services were conducted today at 1 p.m. at the home of
Mrs. Jim Wilson of Offutt with Claud Preston officiating.
  
Born August 7, 1890 in Wayne County, West Virginia, Mrs Ramey was
the daughter of Eligh and Easter Rakes Wilson.
  
She had lived in Melvin for the past 35 years.
  
Her husband John Ramey survives.
  
They were married in Wise, Virginia on September 23, 1957. Also
surviving is a sister, Mrs. Braska Woodford of Phoenix, Az.
  
Burial was held in the family cemetery with the Preston Funeral
Home in charge.
