BERT LYONS
1912-1992
  
Retired miner, Bert Lyons, 80, died Sunday, January 31 in Paul B
Hall Regional Medical Center.
  
Mr. Lyons was born September 26, 1912 in Lawrence County the son
of the late Samuel and Mary Bell Wiley Lyons.
  
He was preceded in death by one son Roy Lyons in 1956; and two
brothers, Florida and Edgar Lyons.
  
Surviving are his wife, Margie Ward Lyons; four sons, James Lyons
of Paintsville and Dennis, Charles and Lanny Lyons, all of River;
two daughters, Alberta Buckley of Toledo, Ohio and Anna Louise
Bower of Indianapolis, Indiana; and 11 grandchildren and eight
Great-grandchildren.
  
Funerla services were held Tuesday, February 2 in Jones-Preston
Funeral Home Chapel, with John Sparks officiating.
  
Burial was in Ward & Gambill Family Cemetery.
