PROCTOR GRIM
1891-1967
Proctor Grim, 76, died on Thursday, June 29, in a local hospital,
after an illness of several months.
Born in Johnson County on January 16, 1891, he was the son of Thomas
J. and Martha McDowell Grim.
He was a resident of Lowmansville at the time of his death.
Survivors include the widow, Fay McCoy Grim, on son, Gomer Grim of
Baltimore, Maryland, one daughter, Mrs. Henry Evans of Paintsville,
five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. A sister, Mrs. Allen
Litteral of Charleston, W. Va., also survives.
Funeral Services were held on Sunday, July 2, 2:00 p.m. in the First
Church of God, at Paintsville, with Scott Castle and Tommy Reynolds
officiating.
Burial followed in the Wells Cemetery at Paintsville, under the
direction of the Paintsville Funeral Home.
