FONNIE DANIELS

Fonnie Daniels, 94, of Paintsville, died Friday, August 20.
  
Born February 2, 1882, Mr. Daniels was the son of the late Bud and
Julie VanHoose Daniels.
   
He operated a retail establishment on Second and College Street in
Paintsville and was regarded as one of Paintsville oldest
businessmen.
  
Mr. Daniels was preceded in death by his wife, Fannie Francis Jordan
Daniels.
  
Surviving are two sons, Morris E. Daniels of New Orleans, LA and
Robert E. Daniels of Dayton, OH; four daughters, Ruth Meade of
Springfield, OH, Maudie Davinport of Frankfort, Jackie Griffith of
Port Angles, WA and Margie Phyllis Robertson; and two brothers, James
Daniels of Chillicothe, OH and French Daniels of Pomroy, CA.
  
Funeral services for Mr. Daniels were held Tuesday, in the Chapel of
the Jones-Preston Funeral Home with Reverend Charles Milam
officiating.
  
Burial was in the Mayo Cemetery in Paintsville with arrangements
under the direction of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
