ROY STEVEN BUTCHER
1912-1990
Roy Steven Butcher, 77, died Friday, January 19, in Highlands Re-
gional Medical Center.
Mr. Butcher was born February 19, 1912 in Lawrence County, the son
of Son and Marcella DeBoard Butcher. He was a machine operator for
Indus- trial Nut in Sandusky, Ohio and was a member of Temple
Baptist Church in Titusville, Florida.
Surviving are his wife, Edna Holt Butcher; two sons, James Butcher,
of Wellston, Ohio, and Henry Butcher, of Titusville; one daughter,
Mary Radguwitz, of Lagrange, Illinois; two brothers, Walter
Butcher, of Whitehouse, and Jack Butcher, of Sandusky; two sisters,
Esther Welch, of Whitehouse, and Alice Jean Wiley, of Columbus,
Ohio; and 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grand- children.
Funeral services were held Monday, January 22, in Whitehouse En-
terprise Baptist Church, with Tommy Meade and Charlie Wiley
officiating.
Burial was in Son Butcher Cemetery at Whitehouse, with Preston
Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
