Two Sisters Die Within A Week

Two sisters, Miss Nora Witten, 63, and Miss Stella Witten, 68,
recently died at their home at Oil Springs less than one week
apart.

Miss Nora Witten died at 3 a. m. Thursday, January 22, following an
illness of several months.

Funeral services were held at the Oil Springs Methodist Church on
Saturday, January 24 by Rev. J. H. Short and Rev. John N.
Mostoller.

Miss Stella Witten, who had been an invalid for many years, died at
7 a. m. on Tuesday. January 27.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Short and Rev. Mostoller
on January 29, at the Oil Springs Methodist Church.

The sisters are survived by one sister, Mrs. Ed Dixon of Oil
Springs and several nieces and nephews.

Burial was made in the Litteral Cemetery at Oil Springs by the
Jones Funeral Home.
