WILLIAM WHITTAKER
1931-1995
   
William Ralph Whittaker, 64, of River, died Thursday, August
17, 1995, in Three Rivers Medical Center at Louisa.
    
Mr. Whittaker was born March 26, 1931, in Johnson County, a
son of Roma Wallen Whittaker Stepp of River and the late
Burns Whittaker.
  
Additional survivors include 4 daughters, Mary Margaret Moe,
Knoxville, TN; Regina Marie, Cols, Ohio; Kymberlee Cochran,
River, & Martha Marie Bishop, River. Three sons, Burns A.,
John Jay and Jeremy Whittaker, all of Columbus, OH, His
mother also survives him.
  
Orville Honeycutt will conduct the funeral at 1 p.m. Sunday
at Preston Funeral Home at Paintsville.
  
Burial will be in the Borders cemetery at River.
    
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
