WILFRED N. WELLS
Services Tuesday for Wilfred Wells Wilfred Wells, 51, salesman for the Big Sandy hardware Company, died in a local hospital Sunday morning, January 13, 1952 following a week's illness. A prominent member of a well-known Johnson county family, he was a popular resident of Williamsport and widely known and liked throughtout this section. He is survived by his wife, Ruby Pelphry Wells, and one daughter, Barbra Sue, at home. Also survivng are the following brothers and sisters: Ernest Wells, Felicity Ohio, Herbert D. Wells and Mrs. Julia Crum, Boons Camp, Mrs. Virgil Wells and Miss Ethel Wells, Meally. Funeral services were conducted from the Wells Chapel at Boones Camp at 10:00a.m., Tuesday, January 25, with Rev. S. C. honeycutt and Rev. S. B. Rucker officiating. Burial was in the Feilds Cemetary at Boones Camp under the direction of Jones Funeral Home. Paintsville Herald 1-17-1952
