VIRGIL WELLS
1893-1955

Funeral services were held monday at the Wells Chapel Church for
Virgil wells, 62, Williamsport miner and merchant, who died at his
home Saturday following an illness of several years.

Born March 9, 1893 at Boons Camp, he was the son of W. G. and Emma
Burgess Wells. he was a member of the Methodist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Louise Wells, two sons, Earl N. Wells, Van
Nuys, California, and Bruce Wells, Meally; and two brothers, Alex
Wells, Louisville, and Rev. Glenn Wells, Pactolus Ky.

The services were conducted by the Rev. Paul Bell with music by the
Baldrige Quartet.

Burial was made in the Wells Cemetery under the direction of the
Preston Funeral Home.
