RICHARD M. WELLS 1917-1953 Funeral services were held at Wells Chapel Church at Boons Camps Monday for Richard M. Wells, 36, who died Friday at Grand View Hospital in Dayton, Ohio, following an illness of six months. Death was attributed to hypertension. Born at Boons Camp May 24, 1917, he was the son of Virgil and Louisa Wells. He had been a resident of Dayton for four years prior to his illness. A veteran of World War II, he served with the 311 Infantry Division in Germany for a year. prior to entering the service he attended Meade Memorial High School from which he graduated. Before becoming ill he was employed at Frigidaire Division at Dayton. Surviving are his wife, Nellie Pauline Barber Wells and two brothers, Bruce Wells, Van Nuys, California. The services were conducted by Rev. W.E. Cissna and Paul Fraim. Burial was made in the Fields Cemetery at Boons Camp under the direction of the Preston Funeral Home. Printed: December 02, 1953
