HOBERT J. WELLS
1919-2008
  
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Sept. 20, 1 p.m. at the
Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel for Hobert J. Wells, 88, of
Cincinnati, Ohio, who passed away Tuesday, Sept. 16 at Springfield
Regional Medical Center in Springfield, Ohio.
  
Mr. Wells was born Sept. 22, 1919 in Johnson County, Ky., son of the
late Herbert D. and Ella Davis Wells. He was a school teacher.
  
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Maxine Pack Wells.
  
Surviving are one son, Phillip Wells of Cincinnati; one daughter,
Jennie Wells Cope of Cincinnati; one brother, Dennis Wells of Boons
Camp, Ky.; and three grandchildren and two great- grandchildren.
  
The service will be officiated by Kenneth Castle, with burial
following in the Wells-Fields family cemetery at Boons Camp.
  
Arrangements under the direction of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home of
Paintsville, Ky.
