ELLA WELLS

Mrs. Ella Wells, 78, passed away at her Boonscamp home on October 2.
 
The daughter of the late Charlie and Jennie Lee Wells Davis, she was
born October 29, 1895.
  
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert D. Wells, on June
17, 1974.
  
Surviving are five sons, Homer Wells, Denver Wells and Dennis Wells,
all of Boonscamp.
   
Shirley Wells of Louisa and Hobert Wells of Cincinnati, one daughter,
Dorothy Wells of Boonscamp, two half-sisters, Irene Riddle of Ashland
and Janice Lowe of Huntington, W. Va., and two grandchildren.
  
Funeral services for Mrs. Wells were held Saturday, October 28, in the
Chapel of the Jones Preston Funeral Home with Reverend J. H. Short
officiating.
  
Burial was in the Fields-Wells cemetery at Boonscamp with the
arrangements under the direction of the Jones Preston Funeral Home.
