Charles Homer Wells, 80, of Boons  Camp, died Saturday Sep.16 2000 in
Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington.
  
Mr. Wells was born Sept. 22, 1919, in Johnson County, a son of the
late Herbert and Ella Davis Wells.
  
He was a retired vocational instructor and a U.S. Army veteran who
served during World War II.
  
Surviving are two brothers, Robert Wells of Cincinnati and Dennis
Wells of Boons Camp, and a sister, Dorothy Wells of Paintsville.
  
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Jones-Preston Funeral Home
in Paintsville by Dick Van Hoose.
  
Burial will be in Fields Cemetery in Boons Camp.
  
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
