Paul Raymond Tackett, 79, of Hazard, formerly of Staffordsville,
died Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2005 at Hazard ARH.
  
Born Nov. 4, 1925, in Johnson County, he was a son of the late
Everett and Donna Jayne Blanton. He was a WW II veteran.
  
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Virginia Christine Roe.
  
Survivors include a daughter, Sharon Lara of Camp Verde, Ariz.
  
Funeral services were Saturday, Aug. 6, at Phelps and Son Funeral
Home with Donnie Patrick and Larry O'Bryan officiating.
  
Burial was in Persimon Point, Jayne Cemetery, Staffordsville.
