LODE SUBLETT

Mrs. Lode Sublett, age 83, died Friday, April 29, 3:15 a.m. at the
home of her daughter,  Fannie Allen in Allen, after a brief illness.
  
Born October 7, 1877, in Johnson County, she was the daughter of
Jasper and Manervah Hannah Webb.  She had been living at Allen for
the past three years and was a member of the Methodist Church.
  
Her husband, the late Jay Sublett, Sr. preceded her in death in 1905.
  
Survivors include a son, Albin, Paintsville; a daughter, Mrs. Ben
Allen, one grandchild, and five great grandchildren.
  
The funeral was conducted Sunday, May 1, 2 p.m. in the Chapel of the
Paintsville Funeral Home with Richard Williams and Lowell Webb
officiating.
  
Burial was held in the Stafford Cemetery, Paintsville.
