ARTHUR LLOYD ROWLAND 1913-1992 Paintsville Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for Lloyd Rowland. Mr. Rowland was born April 16, 1913 in Johnson County, the son of the late John H. and Sarah Curtis Rowland. He was a retired farmer, a member of the United Baptist Church and was a veteran of World War II (United States Air Force). Surviving are his wife, Nola Cantrell Rowland; two sons, Chester Rowland of Flat Gap and Lester Rowland of Fuget; three daughters, Denise Hayes and Brenda Meeks, both of Fuget and Judy Carter of Louisa; six brothers, Joe Rowland of Enon, Ohio, Charles and Jesse Rowland, both of Beaver Creek, Ohio, Robert Rowland of Barnetts Creek, Bill Rowland of Flat Gap and Mitchell Rowland of Fairborn, Ohio; and 10 grandchildren. Funeral services were held Thursday, December 10 in Cold Springs United Baptist Church, with Elders Eulas Adams and Willis George Estep and Rev. Paul E. Keaton officiating. Burial was in Estep Cemetery at Fuget. Published December 1992
