ERNEST B. RATLIFF

E.B. (Brad) Ratliff, 83, died Wednesday, July 16,  1975 at his home
at Meally.
  
The son of Cob and Rebecca Vanover Ratliff, he was born June 1, 1892,
at Lookout, Ky.
 
He was a coal miner and brick layer and was affiliated with the
Church of God.
  
He is survived by his wife, Lizzie Cavins; a son, Cleo Ratliff of Van
Lear; three daughters, Gladys Connors of Dayton, Ohio, Virgie Gibson
and Garnett Dyer, both of Willard, Ohio and one stepdaughter, Mary
Laney of Boons Camp.  Fifteen grandchildren and 30 great
grandchildren also survive.
  
Don Fraley officiated at funeral services held Sunday, July 20, in
the chapel of Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
  
Burial was in the family cemetery at River under the arrangement of
Jones- Preston Funeral Home.
