John Harris Patrick was born September 5, 1937, to Dorothy Spears
Patrick and Greene E. Patrick.
  
He departed this life November 22, 1945, age 8 years, 2 months and 17
days.
  
From infancy he had been a victim of the rare malady, haemophelia, a
bleeder, which kept his life constantly endangered. There are only
176 cases of this disease known to medical science, the treatment or
it is still in the experimental stage, although great advance has
been made, and little John Harris was greatly relieved at times from
the new medicine that had been discovered for this particular
disease.
  
His family was encouraged that he would grow to strong,
