MAN DROWNS AFTER CAR OVERTURNS IN CREEK Conley Necessary Dies Saturday In Accident At Boons Camp Conley Sekion Necessary, 26, died Saturday evening, August 8, 1956 when the automobile he was driving plunged over an eight- foot embankment into Greasy Creek, pinning him beneath the steering wheel. Coroner Jim Trimble his death was caused by accidental drowning. The victim was driving a 1949 Mercury, and had turned his car in the road near the home of Dallas Music about 20 minutes before the accident, it was reported. His body was discovered by Delbert Ray Music of Boons Camp, who with Lee Ward, a neighbor, pried open the door of the automobile which was lying upside down in the bed of Greasy Creek. The two administered artificial respiration but all efforts to revive the victim failed. He was the son of Arm and Susan Sturgill Necessary, and was born at Boons Camp on November 29, 1930. He had been a resident of Columbus, Ohio for the past three years where he was employed as a service station attendant. Surviving besides his parents are one son, Jimmie Darrell Necessary of Auxier, Ky., three sisters, Mrs. Eugene Ward and Mrs. James Dennison, Jr., both of Boons Camp, Mrs. Ora Daniel of Arville, W. Va., and five brothers, Bill Necessary, Slagle, W. Va., Joe Necessary, Homestead, Fla., John W. Necessary, Wheelright, Ky., Charles R. Necessary, Columbus, Ohio, and Frank Necessary, with the Air Force in Germany. Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 14, 1956 at the Freewill Baptist Church at Boons Camp by Rev. Bill Mills and J. H. Short. Burial was made in the Mollett Cemetery at Boons Camp under the direction of the Paintsville Funeral Home. Paintsville Herald Wednesday August 15, 1956
