Newt Music, 76, died Monday, May 3, in Highland Regional
Medical Center.
Mr. Music was born July 17, 1905, in Johnson County, the son
of John and Liddy Mollett Music, and was a resident of Van
Lear.
Surviving are four sons, John Music, Paintsville, Joe Walters,
Boons Camp, Richard and Robert Walters, Huntington, Ind.; ten
daughters, Gracie Dunaway, Nora Moore, Margie Osborne, and
Betty Reed, Wabash, Ind., Ellen Marshall, Dallas, Texas,
Darlene Fairchild, West Van Lear, Margaret Penix and Nancy
Fairchild, Williamsport, and Shirley Fields and Elsie
Montgomery, Van Lear; and three sisters, Martha Ramey, Van
Lear, Verna Mollette, Boons Camp, and Liza Mullins, Defiance,
Ohio.
Funeral services were held Thursday, May 6, in Jones-Preston
Funeral Home with Henry Green and Charles Banks officiating.
Burial was in the family cemetery at Boons Camp.
