Mrs. Lucy VanHoose Music, 68, wife of Theodore Music of Lick Fork,
died at her home at 9:15 p.m., August 7, after a week’s illness.

She was born in this county April 15,1891, the daughter of Pete and
Jenny Hall Stapleton and had resided at Lick Fork for the past two
and one-half years.

She was a member of the Enterprise Baptist Church.

Her marriage was to Zelph Van Hoose, who preceded her in death
November 20,1951.

Surviving besides her husband are a daughter, Mrs. M.L. Butcher,
Boons Camp, one brother Marion Stapleton, Lancer, eight
grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday from the White
House Church with Odis Wiley, Henry Rowe, and Sammy Barter as
officiating ministers.

Burial was in the Osborne Cemetery at White House.
