Russell Mollett of White House Dies August 12

Russell Mollett, 54, resident of White house, died at 8:30 a.m.,
Monday, August 12. in the C&O Hospital in Huntington, W. Va., after
an illness of six months.

The son of Epp and Rebecca Daniels Mollett, he was born in this
county July 10, 1909, and had been a lifelong resident of the
county. He was employed as a trackman for the C&O Railway.

His wife, Emma Mollett, preceded him in death January 9, 1954.

Survivors include seven sons, Estill and James Ronnie Mollett,
Germany; Kenneth and Millard Mollett both of White house; Elmer and
Charles Mollett both of River; Roy Thomas Mollett, Springfield,
Ohio; a brother, Levi Mollett, Thacker, W. Va.; three sisters,
Nannie Childers, Thelma; Lina Miller, Charley; Emma Chapman, W. Va.

Funeral services were conducted at 10:00 a.m., Friday at the
Hammond Freewill Baptist Church with Clyde Boling and Fred Rowland
as officiating ministers.

Burial was in the Osborne Cemetery at White House.
