MINNIE MEADOWS
1895-1963
Mrs. Minnie Meadows, 68, died at the home of her son, Arthur Meek,
Thealka, at 4:30 p.m., Thursday, May 30.
The daughter of Scott and
Martha Roberts Van Hoose, she was born at Tutor Key June 2, 1895.
She was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church.
Her husband, Ben Meadows, preceded her in death September 1927.
Survivors also include another son, William (Bill) Meadows,
Louisville, four daughters, Marie Ward, Waverly, Ohio; Martha
Chandler, Chandlerville; Sue Frazier, Martha; Clara Week,
Baltimore, Md.; a sister, Liz Brown, Springfield, Ohio; a brother,
Brownlo Van Hoose, Tutor Key.
Also surviving are thirty-three grandchildren and sixteen great-
grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted at 10:00 a.m. Sunday at the Van
Hoose Cemetery at Nippa with Millard Van Hoose and Claude Preston
as officiating ministers.
Burial was in the Van Hoose Cemetery.
