Carolyn Jean Jayne Lyons, 60, of Staffordsville, died Saturday,
May 20, 2006 at Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center, Paintsville.
Born August 30, 1945, in Johnson County, she was a daughter of the
late Frank and Georgia Litteral Jayne. She was a domestic.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Bill Jayne; and a
sister, Sandra Sparks.
Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Clarence E. Lyons of
Staffordsville; two sons, Kenneth G. (Annie) Lyons of
Staffordsville, and Daryl A. Lyons of Lexington; a daughter,
Christine G. (Feliciano) Zometa of Paintsville; two brothers,
Kenneth Jayne and Gerald Jayne, both of Dayton, Ohio; a sister,
Marilyn Castle of Staffordsville; six grandchildren, Kenneth G.
Lyons II, Jeffrey A. Lyons, Karlyn G. Zometa, Justin D. Zometa,
Jenalee C. Zometa, and Kalena A. Zometa.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. today, Wednesday, May 24, at
Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel, Paintsville, with Rev. Dwight
Skeans of Lakeland, Fla. and Doug Crider officiating.
Burial will be in Jayne Cemetery, Staffordsville, under direction
of Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to the family.
